Box 398 <br />Simla, CO 80835 <br />Re: Receipt of 110 Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Amendment Application Package, <br />Simla Highway Pit, Permit No. M-1995-095, AM -1 <br />Deaz Mr. Schuler: <br />On December 2, 2003, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 110 Construction Materials <br />Reclamation Permit Amendment application for the Simla Highway Pit, which is located in EI Paso County. <br />All comment and review periods began on December 2, 2003. The decision date for your application is <br />scheduled for January 2, 2004. <br />Newspaper publication of a notice regazding the filing of your application and transmittal of a copy of the <br />notice to all owners of record of surface and mineral rights, holders of any recorded easements, and all <br />owners of record of lands that are within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land is required within 10 <br />days after submittal. You must submit proof of the notice and mailings, such as Certified Mail -Return <br />Receipt Requested, to the Division of Minerals and Geology prior to the decision date. Additionally, any <br />changes or additions to the application on file in our office must also be reflected in the public review copy <br />which has been placed with the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder- <br />The Division is reviewing your application to determine whether it is adequate to meet the requirements of <br />the Act.
