We understand that the pond wells were used to control
storm water according to the Thompson Properties. Upon consideration of the inspection report
and supplemental information, we suspect that the pond wells intercepted groundwater. This
department in such cases would require the owner to either obtain a water well permit or fill in the
pond wells. Since the owner has already filled in the pond wells, no further action from this
Division of Water Resources is warranted at this time.
If you or the applicant has any questions concerning this matter, please contact Mark
Vanarelli of this office for assistance.
Si ely,
Craig M.
