Simpson, P E. <br />State Engineer <br />The Division of Water Resources has reviewed the West Elk Mine (Permit No. C-1980- <br />007) for the Technical Revision Application No. 109 (TR-109). The application proposes <br />to provide ventilation for the mine via the installation of a 24 feet diameter by 400 feet <br />deep shaft with an associated emergency escape shaft.
