<br />SW Bleeder Shah Access Roads consisted of "pit run" sands and gravels which classified as GM to GC <br />soils in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System. <br />The subgrade soils eacotmtered beneath the road base in the existing roadways and beneath the topsoil <br />layer in the proposed roadways generally consisted of clays; however, silts were also encountered along <br />portions of the Fish Creek Borehole Access Road and the West Escape Shah Access Road. The clays <br />were nil to very sandy, silty to gravelly, low to highly plastic, soft to very stiff, moist to very moist, brown <br />to dark brown in color. The clays generally classified as CL to CH soils in accordance with the Unified <br />Soil Classification System. The silts were sandy to gravelly, low plastic, stiff, slightly moist and light <br />brown in color. The silts classified as ML soils in accordance with [be Unified Soil Classification <br />System.
