Table
standards were used for iron, sul~fiate, TDS, pH and WAD cyanide. Maximum allowed concentration of
manganese was set at 0.08 ppm. As you reported on February 9, 1998 (by phone), iron concentration
was detected at a 0.569 ppm level in a sample that was collected at the M-14 well on January 22, 1998.
As required by TR-15, you collected the first verification sample from the well on February 11, 1998.
You submitted results of the lab analysis to the Division on February 23, 1998. As noted on the lab
report, iron levels were O.OI2 ppm in the first verification sample. Pursuant to TR-15, sSnce the
indicator parameter (iron) was not outside the permit condition value, you are not required to collect a
second verification sample and are allowed to resume quarterly monitoring at the M-14 monitoring well.
If you have any questions, please give me a call.
Sincerely,
~~~~ ~
~ James Dillie
Environmental Protection Specialist -
PPM
//: S~~ ? rt--fg
~~R c~~ wow . 5~roYp~,..
- -_
