The
issues attached are 1) Analysis of the Flume Gulch Possible Alluvial Valley Floor (AVF), and 2)
Supporting data for the 1.4-inch 10-year, 24-hour and 1.8-inch, 25-year, 24-hour events for
snowmelt.
The Flume Gulch analysis is presented in a form that will be incorporated into our existing
permit if found acceptable by your office. Included are additions to the text for Sections 2.7.4,
4.8.4, and 4.8.5; new figures 2.7-38 through 2.7-4fi; new tables 2.7-39 through 2.7-41; and two
new maps (M58, M59). I've also attached references from Appendix H for your information.
The second part of this correspondence justifies the use of 1.4-inch, 10-year, 24-hour and 1.8-
inch, 25-year, 24-hour snowmelt data. Two pages of text and appendix supporting the text are
~` enclosed. When accepted by your office, this justification could be added to Appendix Q of
Trapper's Mining and Reclamation Permit.
Please contact Jim Mattern or me if you have any questions. The last remaining issue, Trapper's
Bond, will be addressed at a later date.
Sincerely,
~crii't ~ ~1P~t.cr°ic0~.~
Larry Henderson
Sr. Environmental Engineer
LWN/mg/MLR ] t ] 0
enc
c JM Mattern
file (2)
P.0.
