Dudash,Joe
From: Dudash, Joe
Sent: Thursday, August 17, 2006 10:23 AM
To: Jim Kiger (E-mail)
Subject: Bear No. 3 Reclamation
I would like to clear up one minor point concerning the reclamation at the Bear No. 3 Mine. In the letter dated
January 25, 2005 to Jim Stover, Oxbow states that they want building debris, including concrete, to be taken
offsite. However, Oxbow would not object to the burial of the building debris in the treatment pond, followed by
3 feet of cover.
I don't know if the treatment pond will be decommissioned anytime soon. Therefore, is Oxbow okay with the
burial of debris and/or concrete (but not the transformer and poles) in a pit other than the pond, followed by 2
feet of cover, per Rule 4.11.4(2) ?
RECEIVED
AUG 7 7 2006
Division of ReGamation,
Mining and Safety
