The existing reference <br />area is located in a low area of the AVF and the subirrigation is causing wetland species of vegetation to grow <br />in the site. This type of vegetation is not consistent with the intent of comparison for the reclaimed AVF <br />area. <br />Kaiser proposes to utilize a similar sized area at the north end of the reclaimed AVF. This area was <br />seeded with the same seed mix at [he same time as the reclaimed area and receives the same management <br />practices as the reclaimed area.
