The revision will allow CYCC
to excavate a backhoe pit(s) on an undisturbed area adjacent to the existing
Tube/fueling facility. As discussed 1n the minor revision, the topsoil will
be salvaged prior to the excavation process.
The site investigation is required to determine the extent of diesel
migration within the soil surrounding the facility. Once the extent of the
migration has been determined another revision will be submitted which will
address the clean up that will be required.
Given the limited extent of disturbance, and the temporary nature of
the backhoe pits, I do not believe a bond adjustments required at this
time. Also, given the current status of the CYCC bond, sufficient bond is
available to cover any reclamation work that would be required.
I have attached a list of revised material which accompanies this
revision. If there are questions please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
~,~o/r~v
Richard Mills
Supervisor; Environmental Affairs
RAM/dg
No.Oi~ ~ III IIIIIIIIIIIII III
999
Attachments
