Division of Ivlinerals and Geology. Permit C-81-013 <br />was issued by the Division on Julv 26. 2000. <br />The Golden Eagle ivline is located in Szctions 20.21, 28 & 29, T335. R67W. A total of 59 acres of <br />surface disturbance from mining is covered by a Coal Reclamation Bond in the amount of $177,085. The <br />permittee is applying for and Division guidelines allow for the release of up to 3~% of the total bond <br />amount in a Phase II Bond release. <br />The Golden Eagle Mine ceased production on December 31. 1995. Phase 1 bond release (removal of <br />structures and final grading) aas approved on March l3, 1998. In accordance with the approved <br />reclamation plan and as required for Phase P bond release, a vegetation assessment of the reclamation <br />areas was completed in July of 2000 during the third growing season. <br />Any written comments, objections or requests for a public hearing or informal conference regarding this <br />bond release application must be submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology. 1313 Sherman Street <br />Room 215.
