(see attached) <br />As shown on tl~e attached Soil Conservation Service Soil <br />Interpretations,for this area the soil is very shallow gravelly <br />to stony loams over bedrock. Steep ledges and outcrops of <br />"tedbed" shale is common. Air, caater and root penetration is <br />good but limited by depth to bed rock. Pioisture holding capacity <br />is poor. <br />~- <br />;_, Tlie shale overburden has a pEE of 8.6 and a conductivlty of 1.2 <br />m-mhos/cm. The soil has a pH of 7.136 and conductivity of <br />2.40 m-m1~osJcm. <br />
