III IIIIIIIIIIIII III <br />999 <br />POBLIC NOTICE <br />NEW CASTLE ENERGY CORPORATION with its offices at 7476 East <br />Arkansas Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80231, telephone (303) 337 3877 <br />has filed a Technical Revision to its Mining Permit C-84-065 with <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division for its Coal Ridge <br />No. 1 mine. <br />The Technical Revision relates to a modification of the ground <br />water monitoring program. Specifically, the modification <br />requests is to eliminate the monitoring well OW-4-L from the <br />program. Six other wells shall remain as part of the monitoring <br />program. <br />The well is located within the permitted area as described below: <br />All lands are located in Garfield County, Colorado. <br />A) T6S, R91W, Sec. 1: Those lands in the N/2 yet south of <br />County Road 335; S/2, <br />B) T6S, R91W Sec. 12: N/2 NE/4 and NE/4 NW/4 <br />C) T6S, R90W, Sec. 6: All lands south of County Road 335 <br />D) T6S, R90W, Sec. 5: S/2 SW/4 <br />E) T65, R90W, Sec. 7: NE/4 and N/2 NW/4 <br />F) T6S, R90W, Sec. 8: NE/4, E/2 NW/4 and NW/4 NW/4 <br />G) T6S, R90W, Sec. 9: SW/4 and S/2 NW/4 <br />H) T6S, R90W, Sec. 15: NW/4 <br />I) T65, R90W, Sec. 16: N/2 NE/4 and NE/4 NW/4 <br />being 2,524.5 acres, more or less. <br />The site is further descibed as being located on the USGS Quad- <br />rangle named Storm King Mountain, Colorado. <br />
