3 <br />The operator states that species diversity in the Mountain Shrubland Dry Phase shall <br />be comprised of; <br />3 species of cool season grasses <br />2 species of forbs <br />3 species of shrubs/or trees <br />No one species shall comprise < 3% of the total cover <br />or > 40% of the total cover. <br />This same diversity standard shall apply all areas (i.e. refuse pile, truck dump, <br />etc.) <br />Woody plant density standard are as follows: <br />Mountain Shrub Dry Phase: 1500 stems per acre <br />Pinyon-Juniper Woodland: 1000 stems per acre <br />Rubber Rabbitbrush Shrubland: 2000 stems per acre <br />Productivity and cover standards for the Pinyon-Juniper Woodland, Rubber <br />Rabbitbrush Shrubland, Pastureland, and Hayland are as follows: <br />cover production <br />Pinyon-Juniper Woodland 57.7% 500 Ibs/ac <br />Rubber Rabbitbrush Shrubland 45.3% 550 Ibs/ac <br />Hayland (hayed) 95% 5000 lbs/ac <br />Hayland (pastured) 70% X000 Ibs/ac <br />C) Once again, the operator needs to define if the cover and productivity values <br />are going to be met at 100% or at a different value such as 90% with 90% <br />confidence as allowed by Rule 4.15.8(3) and (4). <br />Other than these identified items I have no other adequacy concerns. <br />m: \coal\j hb\C81025.par <br />
