This armoring would be an extension of
approximately 125' of downstream armoring which was performed in conjunction with a minor diversion of
Stollsteimer Creek and was previously sanctioned by the Corps of Engineers.
Kaiser categorizes this work as routine maintenance, and emphasizes that the armoring is a continuation of
existing erosion protection aaivities. Kaiser would like the Division to acknowledge this position in writing,
prior to initiating work at the site.
Sincerely,
~'-~ t ~ w ~~~ l
Catherine W.
