February 1998 Jai l Release Application ~ Pa,¢e 17 <br />2.0 WRITTEN NOTICE TO PARTIES IDENTIFIED <br />• UNDER RULE 3.03.2(1) <br />2.1 PHASE II/PHASE/III BOND RELEASE NOTIFICATION <br />Following is a copy of the written notification that will be sent to the parties identified under <br />Rule 3.03.2(1), and who are listed in Section 2.2. <br />February 12, 1998 <br />To Whom Ic May Concern: <br />Please be advised that the HG Coal Company (I-IGCC) is requesting Phase II/Phase III bond <br />release on approximately 357.3 acres at the Hayden Gulch Mine, Permit No. C-80-003. The <br />mine is located approximately 11 miles south of Hayden, Colorado on Routt County Road 53. <br />You aze being provided with this notification in fulfillment of Rule 3.03.2(1) of the Regulations <br />of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mirzirzg (Regulations). <br />Please be advised that the azea has been successfully backfilled, regraded, topsoiled, revegetated, <br />and that drainage control has been provided in accordance to the approved reclamation plan <br />filed with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG). The Phase R/Phase III <br />• bond release covers topsoiling and vegetation requirements. Final reclamation activities were <br />generally completed in 1987. <br />A copy of the newspaper advertisement is attached for your information. The public notice <br />will be published in the Steamboat Pilot, Steamboat Springs, Colorado weekly for four (4) <br />consecutive weeks.
