This clazification has been
noted. The Surety Bond issue will be addressed in the forth coming amendment when the overall site
surety is recalculated.
The 8.1 acres in SW'/a, SW E/a, of Section 23, Township 1 S, Range 1 E, Ute Meridian has met all the
requirements set forth in the approved Reclamation Plan. Therefore, this Office has aaaroved the
release of the above described Dortion of the Hermit from further reclamation liability. This
applies only to the bottom floor area. Slopes are not reclaimed to a sufficient degree at this time for
release consideration. Parkerson Construction is reminded that any impact on the released area will be
considered disturbance outside the permit boundary with this approval.
If you need additional information, please contact me at the Division of Minerals and Geology, Grand
Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, telephone no.
970.241.1117.
Sincerely,
~~- ~~
G.
