Simpson, Assistant State Engineer
SUBJECT: Amendment to Henderson Mine, Climax Molybdenum Company
#77-342
As requested by your office, we have reviewed the application for an
amendment to the Henderson Mine near Empire. The applicant appears
to have sufficient water rights under Water Court Case No. W-526 to
meet the proposed needs of the project and to construct the reservoir
on Lost Creek. We, therefore, have no objection to the proposal at this time
provided the project and its proposed amendments are operated in accord-
ance with the above mentioned water court case and its stipulations and
all appli~ble state water statutes.
-SQL _-r AYE.
Hal D.
