The sampling procedure which MCC proposes to conduct for the deep wells will consist of partial evacuation of the water in [he well and utilizing a thief sampler to capture a representative water sample from the bottom of the remaining water column. 5. No response necessary. 6. The same procedures as described in Comment Number 4 for Groundwater above will be used for well SOM C-72-H. 7. An analysis of flows in Sylvester Gulch will be provided in future AHRs. 8. No response necessary. 9. Well completion information is contained in Exhibit 12 of the Permit Document. Information relating to wells SG-l, GP-l, SOM 38-H2, and SW-l through SW[, is a[tachrd for your review and insertion into the document. 12. The probe in the soil test water level mater has been replaced. This has helped in more accurately measuring water levels in [he refuse wells. 13. The reference made concerning wells SOM 80 and SOM 13 was that they are not as deep as other wells within the mine permit boundary and that trends in precipitation may have more of an influence on these wells than others. In the future, if MCC indicates that drought conditions are a factor for interpretation, climate data will be provided so that the Division can reach the same conclusion. 14.
