The sampling procedure which MCC proposes to conduct for the deep wells will consist of partial <br />evacuation of the water in [he well and utilizing a thief sampler to capture a representative water sample <br />from the bottom of the remaining water column. <br />5. The probe in the soil test water level mater has been replaced. This has helped in more accurately <br />measuring water levels in [he refuse wells. <br />13. The reference made concerning wells SOM 80 and SOM 13 was that they are not as deep as other wells <br />within the mine permit boundary and that trends in precipitation may have more of an influence on these <br />wells than others. In the future, if MCC indicates that drought conditions are a factor for interpretation, <br />climate data will be provided so that the Division can reach the same conclusion. <br />14.
