`i-titin«~u«<ii~ <br />Public Notice <br />Lorencito Coal Company, 4643 South Ulster Street, Suite 1270, Denver, CO 80237, has filed with <br />the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology, an application for Technical Revision 03 to permit <br />C-96-084 for the Lorencito Canyon Mine located approximately 20 miles west of Trinidad, <br />Colorado, Townships 33 and 34 South, Range 66 West, Section 33 and other unplatted lands on the <br />Hill Ranch. The Hill Ranch is generally located southeast of Weston, Colorado. The mine permit <br />area is approximately bounded by the South Fork of the Purgatoire River on the west, Highway 12 <br />on the north, Lorencito and Bonita Canyons on the east and little Alamosa Canyon on the south. <br />Map 2.03.4-1 and Exhibit 2 of the permit application contain the lengthy, detailed legal description. <br />These lands can be located on the Tercio, Weston, and Little Pine Canyon USGS topographical 7.5 <br />minute quadrangle maps. <br />Lorencito Coal Company has provided information indicating transfer of partial ownership of the <br />company from A.P. Maxwell to Taiheiyo (U.S.A.), Inc. and revise the list of officers, legal contact, <br />and corporate address.
