112. a) The Division has reviewed the revised Map 66. l he mapping appear w ~ n,...y,..... . ............_...__
that the extent and location of agriculttual activity in the alluvial valleys w7thin the reconnaissance area
- - is not significantly changed from that depicted in the 1984 mapping. Based on review of the updated
mapping, application narrative, and the most recent findings document, it would appeaz that the alluvial
deposits on the North Fork of the Gunnison downstream from Gribble Gulch constitute an AVF. It also ~~
appears that an AVF occurs within the alluvial deposits of the main stem of Minnesota Creek from the
north section tine of Section 17, TI4S, R90 W, downstream to the North Fork of the Gunnison. Finally,
it appears than an AVF occurs on the lower East Fork of Minnesota Creek, from the upper limit of
mapped alluvial deposits in Section 9, T14S, R90W, to its confluence with the main stem Minnesota
Creek. PIease comment ifyou have questions or disagree with this determination.
b) Please amend page 2.06-5 to discuss the fact that the reconnaissance investigation was reviewed and pf~
updated in 2005 in association with PR-10, and that Map 66 was updated as a result
MCC Response: MCC concurs with the division's interpretation ojthe updated Mop 66.:V1CC also
changed Tab/e 66 in Section 1.06 to reflect updated salinity information during the irrigation season.
114.
