Long <br />Division Dbecus <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is proposing to approve a renewal <br />application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by MINREC, Inc. on June O5, <br />1997, for the Blue Ribbon Mine. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing <br />before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of this notice by the Division in <br />the Delta County Independent. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 8 miles northeast of Paonia. The permi[ area is further described <br />as follows: <br />Portions of Section 2, Township 13 South, Range 9I West; and portions of Section 35, Township 12 South. Range <br />9I West of the 6th P.M. <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Delta County Clerk and Recorders Office.
