Colorado 81434 <br />• Telephone 703 929 5015 <br />November 4, 1988 <br />Mr. Matthew fiayes <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Re: SYell Completion Reports, 1988 Drilling, hft. <br />Gunnison No. 1 Mine, CMLRD Permit C-007-80. <br />Dear Mr. Hayes: <br />Please find enclosed the above referenced well <br />completion reports. Reclamation of the drill pad <br />for holes SOhi C-72H and SOhf C-72A and B was <br />completed during the week of October 3, 1988. <br />Reclamation of the portion of drill road from the <br />Jumbo Mountain road to the drill pad was also <br />completed the week of October 3, 1988. <br />• Reclamation of the drill .pad consisted of filling <br />two pits with stockpiled subsoil, respreading <br />stockpiled topsoil, seeding (WECC permanent mix and <br />temporary mix), and mulching with straw. <br />Reclamation of the road (approx. 2,800 ft.) <br />consisted of grading, re-cutting water bars, and <br />seeding. Approximately 300 feet of the road where <br />the soil was extremely sandy, was mulched with <br />straw. The road will remain open, as in the past, <br />for use by the private surface ,owner, and WECC for <br />monitoring purposes. <br />Hole SOM C-70B, which xas permitted, was not drilled <br />and no disturbance occurred at that location. <br />Hole SOht C-72H was completed as a hydrology <br />monitoring well for the B coal seam. <br />Hole SOhf-127H is located in the shop parking lot at <br />the mine site surface facilities. This well was <br />also completed as a hydrology monitoring well for <br />the B coal seam. The site was cleaned up, but no <br />reclamation work was necessary as the hole is <br />. located.in an existing gravelled parking lot. <br />AMCGc3J+ <br />
