<br />Public Notice <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division has issued a decision for partial <br />bond release for the Keenesburg Mine, Permit No. C-81-028, operated by Coors <br />Energy Company, P.O. Box 359, Keenesburg, Colorado 80643, The bond release <br />was proposed for reclamation work conducted at the Keenesburg Mine during <br />1985, 1986 and 1987. Based on observations made during a May 8th bond release <br />inspection and information submitted Coors Energy Company has successfully <br />completed backfilling, regrading and drainage control in accordance with their <br />approved reclamation plan on 111 acres of state and privately owned land. The <br />performance bond for the Keenesburg Mine has recently been evaluated and found <br />to be adequate to cover the cost of all current and anticipated reclamation <br />activities. <br />The mine is located 7 miles north of Keenesburg and is accessed by Weld County <br />Roads ]8 and 59. The USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps "Klug Ranch" and "Tampa" <br />contain the described operation. The permitted area in question is in <br />Sections 25 and 36, T3N, R64W, 6th Principal Meridian, Weld County, Colorado. <br />Copies of the bond release application may be reviewed at the Town Hall in <br />Keenesburg, Colorado, and at the Mined Land Reclamation Division, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Room 423, Denver, Colorado 80203, phone (303) 866-3567. Anyone with <br />a valid legal interest which might be adversely affected by the proposed <br />decision may submit a written request for an adjudicatory hearing. The <br />request for the adjudicatory hearing must state with specificity the reasons <br />why the hearing is requested and must be received in the office of the <br />Division within 30 days of the first publication of this notice. <br />
