Our Division requires applicants for a mi <br />reclamation permit to notify landowners adjacent to the Land the <br />proposing to mine and later reclaim. This notification gives ad <br />landowners an opportunity to make comments or file objections to <br />mining and reclamation plan. I do not know why you were notifie <br />application, since the location you described for your claims is <br />west of the Alma Placer mine site. The proposed mine is southea <br />Alma, Colorado along the Platte River, <br />In this case, the applicant is adding 40 acres to presently perm <br />mine permit area. It is your responsibility to check the proxim <br />land to the proposed Alma Placer Mine.
