Lane <br />Dimsion Dvecmr <br />The Division renewed a mining and reclamation permit to Grand Valley Coal <br />Company for the Munger Canyon Mine on April 10, 1993. The operation is an <br />underground coal mine located approximately 19 miles north of Loma, Colorado. <br />in Garfield County. The rail loadout is located in Mesa County. The coal to <br />be mined is federaiiy owned and the surface to be affected is orivateiy <br />owned. A copy of the permit is enclosed, pursuant to Rule 2.01.4(2)(C). <br />Stipulation No. 21 had been included in the proposed decision on <br />March 10, 1993. This stipulation required that the Division receive <br />verification of resolution of an appeal between Grand Valley Coal Company's <br />parent, Adobe Mining, and the Office of Surface Mining. The Office of Surface <br />Mining verified rescl;aicn cf the appeal cn March 1?, 1993.
