z. <br />v 2. Permanently reclaim areas which would not likely be re-disturbed by <br />future development. <br />Examples: access road side slopes, existing buried pipelines. <br />3. Stabilize, by revegetation or by chemical treatment, those areas which <br />would reasonably be expected to be re-disturbed by future construction <br />or which must remain active through this interim period. <br />Examples: Stabilization by revegetation: <br />topsoil stockpiles, abandoned flat-lying soil areas (terminal <br />site, vacant office sites). <br />Stabilization by chemical treatment: <br />active roads and yards, large stripped rock or rock fill <br />areas (plant site, La Sal laydown area, coarse ore site). <br />These principles should be kept in mind while reviewing the detailed discussion <br />for each affected area in the following sections. <br />v <br /> <br />
