The mine is opereted by Coors Energy <br />Company under the provisions of the Colorado <br />Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. <br />The bond release applicafion was submitted by <br />Coors Energy Company on August 25, 2004. <br />The request is a Phase I release (backfilling, <br />grading, topsoiling, and drainage re~stablish- <br />ment). The bond release area totals 51.76 <br />acres, composed of severe) parcels in the per- <br />mit area. The affected area is located in Weld <br />County, approximately 7 miles north of <br />Keenesburg, Colorado. <br />Copies of the proposed derision are available <br />for review at Ne Coloredo Divison of Minerals <br />and Geology office, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, and at the <br />office of Me Weld County Clerk and Recordef. <br />Any person who has an interest which is or <br />may be adversely affected may request an <br />adjudicatory hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision.
