CAM Mining LLC, P.O. Box 98, Loma, CO, 81524, has filed with the Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety a complete application forthe renewal of a valid existing
permit to conduct mining in Colorado for its Munger Canyon Mine and Loma Loadout,
Mining and Reclamation Permit No. C-1981-020.
The Munger Canyon Mine is located approximately 18 miles north of Loma, CO along
State Highway 139. East Sait Creek is located on western portion of the permit boundary.
Most of the surface of the permit area is owned by the United States. The permit area is
encompassed within portions of Sections 27, 28 and 29 of Township 7 South, Range 102
West, 6"' P.M. and Sections 2, 3 and 4 of Township 8 South, Range 102 West, 6"' P.M. A
portion of the permit area in section 29 is owned by #11 Enterprises.
The Loma Loadout is approximately one-half mile east of Loma, Colorado. The surface of
the permit area is owned by the Union Pacific Railroad. The permit area is encompassed
within portions of the SW'/4SW'/+ of Section 34 Township 2 North, Range 3 West, Ute
Meridian and Portions ofthe NE'/,NW'/a of Section 3 Township 1 North, Range 3 West, Ute
Meridian.
The mine site sections are contained within the U.S. Geological Survey7.5 minute Howard
Canyon and Garvey Canyon Quadrangle maps. The Loadout sections are contained
within the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Mack Quadrangle Map.
A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection at the Mesa County
Clerk and Recorders office, 544 Rood, Grand Junction, CO. A copy of the approved
permit application document, as well as the renewal application, is available atthe Denver
and Grand Junction offices of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safet~[Room 215,

Grand Junction, CO 81501, [phone]] Written wmments, objections or a request for
an informal conference on the proposed permit renewal maybe submitted to the Division
of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Denver or Grand Junction offices, and must be
