Long Re: Foidel Creek Mine (Permit No. C-1982-056) Division Director Minor Revision No. 168 (MR-168) Installationof Crusher at Prep Plant Dear Mr. Mills: We have received your minor revision application to revise your permit to conduct coal mining in Colorado. Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34-33-101 et seq., C.R.S., have been submitted. Thus, your application has been considered complete for the purposes of filing as of March 24, 2000. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. The Division has reviewed your revision application to determine whether the items you have submitted are adequate in terms of meeting the requirementsof the Act and Regulations. Twentymile Coal Company proposes installation of a cnLSiter az the prep plant area.. Upon review of the proposed pages and Map 24, the Division has the following comments: 1. Proposed page 2.05-30.1 (rev. 3/IS/00) replaces approved page 2.05-30.1 (TR 99-33 rev. 5/27/99). All information on approved page 2.05-30.1 (TR 99-33 rev. 5!27/99) has been eliminated. Please resubmit this page so that it contains the proposed changes, while retaining the previously approved information. 2. Twentymile Coal Company proposes to reduce Map 24 scale from 1 inch = 300 feet, to i inch = 500 feet. Although the proposed map 24 allows for inclusion of some of the outlying disturbance areas, detail has been lost on the 1 inch = 500 foot scale. The Division requests that Twentymile Coal Company resubmit Map 24 Surface Facilities and Freshwater Systems with the 1 inch = 300 foot scale. Please submit the requested information by March 30, 200, in order for the Division to review the submittals prior to the proposed decision date.
