We do not have any additional recommendations t~o make as long as the applicant continues to meet the requirements established by the Board of Health when rr:turning water into Cement Creek, and inspects and repairs lif necessary) all buildings to be donated to the Saln Juan Historical County Society. Poorly constructed buildings will deteriorate rapidly, causing building material to become scattered throughout the area. This will impact the revegetation of the site and wildlife use of the area. We also encourage the applicant to keep the interpretative site open for educational purposes. If the applicant does not want to be responsible for the site, it should be donated to the historical society or adopted by a special interest group le.g., Boy Scout Groupl. The site provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the area's past history and the current reclamation effort with pictures and an on-site viewing station. This application was reviewed by Melody Miller.
