The revision proposes removal of the
facilities area (approximately 28 acres) from the mine permit area. Approval of the revision
would limit the permit area to the former pit disturbance and sediment ponds. Notice of our
proposed decision will be Qublished once in the Steamboat Pilot, initiating a ten day public
comment period. The Division anticipates publication of the notice in the March 7, 1996 edmon
of the paper.
If you have questions or need additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
d
Susan L Burgmat r
Environmental Protection Specialist
c: Bryan J.
