This request allows American Soda to construct two storage
cells on previously disturbed pad locations. These storage cells will contain the nahcolite solids from
the pilot plant's process ponds. Removal and reclamation of the pilot plant ponds is a requirement of
the Suspension of Operations Production for federal sodium leases COC-0118328 and COC-0118398.
This revision does not change impacts analyzed in the EIS for the Yankee Gulch Sodium Minerals
Project and is therefore approved.
If there any questions, please contact Paul Daggett, Mining Engineer at (970) 878-3819.
Sincerely,
`~ Kent E.
