EXHIBIT "I"
SOILS INFORMATION
All three sites, Arkins Park North, Arkins Park South, and Loveland Buff
Trupp, are located in old mine areas, and there is li tle top soil
remaining. However, as stated in the United States D partment of
Agriculture Soil Conservation Service letter of March 13, 1981, the
remaining soil is a shallow, well drained soil with a surface layer of
stony sandy loam up to 11 inches deep. Approximately 309 of the areas
are rock outcrop. Any loose surface soil has between 35% and 70% stones
and cobbles. The soil in this area is mapped as a Ba 1er-Roc
k Outcrop
Complex. A more detailed description is available in the Latimer County
Soil Survey. See the attached letters and excerpt fr m the Latimer
County Soil Survey.
