December 3, 1990 Page 3 You have advised me that the $50.00 I remitted.in my letter of October Z, 1990, was applied by your Department to the Moon Pit because I had used the Moon Pit number in my correspondence. Therefore, the fee for the Moon Pit has been paid. You advised that we obtain the return of the bank's $50.00 from Pat and Bonnie Weber since we would have to go through considerable bureaucratic manipulations to get a refund of that amount. On October 9, 1990, you wrote me in response to my October 2nd letter. You utilized the correct nomenclature of the Moon Pit (M-77-443). That's understandable for the reasons given above. I didn't pay much attention to the nomenclature, only the substance of your letter and therefore, subsequently you and I spoke by phone concerning the problems you alluded to and I wrote you concerning the same matter on November 27, 1990. The subject of my October 2nd letter was obviously the River Pit (No. 444). All of the facts and circumstances and the content of our correspondence are duly noted but you and I have agreed by phone that our discussions concern the River Pit and not the Moon Pit. By copy of this letter to Mr. and Mrs. Weber, I am requesting therm to immediately pursue filing the Successor Operator Permit application. If they need help, I'm sure they can call you as to what documents need to be filed and with what decree of formality.
