Our initial review indicates that all <br />preliminary items required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation <br />Act, C.R.S. 34-33-101 et sec. have been submitted. Thus, your application has <br />been deemed complete for the purposes of filing on this date. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this date of filing. <br />The proeosed ne~.~spaper advertisement submitted with the application requires <br />some correction. Sections 6, 7, and i8 should be included in Township 11 <br />South, Range 97 West. This correction will accurately describe the permit <br />area. Also, please eliminate the numerals 423 from the Division's address. <br />'fcu <_hould commence publication of this advertisement as specified in Rule <br />2.07.3(2) of the Regulations. Proof or the publication of the advertisement <br />must be filed with the Division nct later than four weeks after the last <br />publication date. <br />A copy of the application, less confidential items, must be filed for public <br />inspection with the appropriate public office as specified by you on the <br />application form. Any subsequent changes or additions to the application must <br />also be made in this local government copy. <br />The staff is currently reviewing your application to determine whether the <br />items ycu have submitted are adequate in terms of meeting the requirements of <br />the Act and Regulations. Additional informaticn may be required for purposes <br />of adequacy. According to the provisions of Section 34-33-118(5) of the Act, <br />you will be notified no later than September 8, 1992 of this Division's <br />preliminary findings as to the substantive adequacy of your application. <br />
