Banta. <br />Division Director <br />Thank you very much for your comments on the above referenced mine amendment. <br />In response to your comments, and the Mined Land Reclamation Division's <br />adequacy review, the applicant has revised its application to provide a better <br />reclamation plan. As you can see from the enclosed response letter the <br />maximum amount of disturbance will be limited to 26.9 acres at any one time. <br />In addition the seed mix has been revised to include shrubs, fortis and diverse <br />grasses. In addition the valley fill waste rock area will be planted with <br />juniper seedlings on 20 X 20 foot centers to provide wildlife cover. <br />The operator has also verbally committed to begin vegetation test plots on <br />existing drill pad areas to determine what species will be most effective in <br />reclaiming the disturbed area. <br />Your assistance in this matter has been greatly appreciated. <br />Sincerely, <br />~ ` ~d c <br />Gregg R.
