Box 388 <br />Fairplay, Colorado 80440 <br />RE: M & M Mining Company, Snowstorm Placer Amendment, file No. M-83-084 <br />Dear Ms. Comer-Baker: <br />Pursuant to Rule 2.34 of the Rules and Regulations, enclosed are copies of <br />letters sent to the Park County Commissioners by Raymond Nichols, Philip Evans <br />and George Stepanof pertaining to the above-referenced operation. I encourage <br />you to contact these people to try and resolve all concerns within the <br />jurisdiction of the Mined Land Reclamation Act prior to the scheduled meeting <br />of the Mined Land Reclamation Board. Issues not within the jurisdiction <br />include potential impacts to property values, hours of operation, noise, <br />lights, traffic, dust from stationary sources, potential impacts to visual <br />aesthetics, and potential impacts to tourism and/or economic development.
