Cattany <br />Re: Proposed Decision Division Director <br />Permit Renewal Application No. 4 (RN-4) Natual Resource Trustee <br />Eagle No. 5 and 9 Mines (Permit No. C-1981-044) <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is proposing to approve a renewal application for coal mining and <br />reclamation permit. The application was submitted by RAG Empire Corporation on March 6, 2003 for the Eagle <br />No. 5 and 9 Mines. In accordance with Rule 2.07.4(2)(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed derision. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />heazing before the Mined Land Reclamation Boazd within 30 days of the first publication of the public notice by <br />the Division in the Craig Daily Press. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />All or portions of Sections 4, 5, 6 and 8, TSN, R91 W; part of Section 1, TSN, R92W; and Sections 17, 19, 20, 21, <br />28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33, T6N, R91 W; portions of Sections 25, 26, 35 and 36, T6n, R92W; 6th Prime Meridian. <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
