-2- <br /> • 3 . The applicant filed its final changes to the application, <br /> including responses to the Division' s adequacy letters, on May 14 , <br /> 1997 . After this date, the applicant shall not make any changes or <br /> additions to the application. <br /> 4 . Failure to attend the pre-hearing conference or failure to <br /> request party status in writing prior to June 5, 1997 may result in <br /> the loss of any party status . Prior to or at the June 5, 1997 , <br /> 1 P.M. pre-hearing conference, all persons interested in <br /> participating in the hearing as parties shall deliver to the <br /> Division ten (10) copies of the following: <br /> a. A statement of the issues the person or organization <br /> wishes to have the Board consider at the formal hearing. The <br /> statement of issues shall provide the relief being requested and <br /> the factual and legal grounds for such relief . The Board, in its <br /> discretion, may exclude any issue not described in the statement; <br /> b. A list of witnesses who may be called and a brief <br /> description of each witness' s expected testimony; and <br /> C . A description of the exhibits to be introduced at the <br /> hearing, except that the applicant shall not be required to provide <br /> copies of the application. <br /> • Single copies of these items must also be provided to all <br /> other parties attending the per-hearing conference and to those <br /> requesting party status in writing prior to June 5, 1997 . <br /> 5 . Each party shall submit to the Division a copy of each Exhibit <br /> to be presented at the Formal Board Hearing in June. These copies <br /> must be receive by the Division by June 13 , 1997 . Copies of all <br /> Exhibits will be available in the Division' s office for inspection <br /> and copying. <br /> 6 . At the pre-hearing conference, the pre-hearing conference <br /> officer may: <br /> a. Determine and designate the parties to the formal <br /> hearing; <br /> b. Issue an order prescribing the order of presentation and <br /> time allowed each party at the hearing; <br /> C . Issue an order limiting the issues to be considered at <br /> the hearing; and <br /> d. Issue such other orders as are appropriate to control the <br /> subsequent course of the proceedings . <br />
