MANAGEMENT
Bowie Resources Limited, "BRL" has considered three different alignments for the
subject light use road. An alignment along the north facing slope was rejected because
of potential stability problems. An alignment along the south facing slope was rejected
because it would have to cut through a significant sandstone outcrop. Therefore, BRL
has decided to revert to its original alignment which was partially on the north facing
slope and then the road followed the existing alignment along the south facing slope
below the sandstone outcrop.
The new light use road is shown on Map 9, Hydrologic Monitoring Location Map. The
road descends into the Terror Creek Drainage. The new light use road will be located
in the north'/z of Section 4, T 13 S, R 91 W.
Right of Entry
The new road will traverse land owned by Bowie Resources and land managed by the
Bureau of Land Management. Right of entry on BLM managed land is, subject to
stipulations, authorized by Federal Coal Lease COC-61209.
Affected and Disturbed Area
The construction of this road will disturb approximately 2.1 acres.
Cultural Resources
See Volume VI, Cultural Resources, items 3 and 11.
