Each year, these monuments have been
resurveyed to the nearest 1/1000 foot. For the 5 years that
measurements have been made, there has been no significant
movement at any of the monuments. The maximum movement detected
last year at any monument was 3/100 of a foot or 0.36 inches.
Previous years are similar although an error in surveying
disrupted the Nil measurements for a period.
In addition, sits inspections have revealed no visual signs of
cracking, bulging, slumping or any other type of stability
problem. I am a registered P.E. in the State of Colorado and have
extensive experience in slope stability concerns at s number of
sites. I can stste without qualification that the sites nre
stnble.
The slope stability survey summaries for the past 5 years are
enclosed for convenience. Due to the strong evidence of stability
over a considerable period of time, it is hereby requested that
the surveying be discontinued.
Call me if there any questions. Thanks, Carl.
Sincerely~yyo~ur~s,
pIE _ _
Oreg Lewicki
dreg Lswieki
and Associates
