Box 1430, Palisade, CO 81526, was <br />deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods <br />as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from <br />this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the <br />Roadside North and South Portals. The technical revision would revise the <br />design for the size and spillways on four existing sediment ponds. <br />The mines are located approximately three miles northeast of Palisade, <br />Colorado, within the following lands: <br />Township 10 South, Range 98 West, 6th P.M. <br />Sections 20, 21, 22,'23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, <br />and 35 <br />Township 11 South, Range 97 West, 6th P.M <br />Sections 6, 7, and 18 <br />Township 11 South, Range 98 West, 6th P.M. <br />Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, and 14 <br />Township 1 South. Range 2 East. Ute P.M. <br />Section <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />maps of Cameo and Palisade. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public <br />inspection at the Mesa County Courthouse, 544 Rood, Grand Junction, Colorado. <br />
