Low rainfall inhibits the amount of potential vegetation. <br />Vegetative species that inhabit the area of the permit site include the following: <br />Western wheatgrass, <br />Needle-and-thread <br />Four-wing saltbush <br />Slender wheatgrass <br />Indian ricegrass, <br />Blue grama <br />W interfat, <br />Tufred hairgrass, <br />Bluejoint reedgrass <br />and Nebraska sedge. <br />The SCS reports that as range conditions deteriorate, species such as Blue <br />Baltic rush, Three-awn, Snakeweed and Rubber rabbit brush increase. <br />« J,~ <br />the <br />Foxtail barley, <br />
