Cattany <br />Division DlreCtOr <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) <br />Bond Release Application No. 4 (SL-4) <br />Deaz Mr. Luke: <br />In accordance with Rule 3.03.2(5)(6) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Boazd for Coal Mining (Rules), you aze hereby notified that the Division's decision to <br />Approve Bond Release Application No. 4 for the Trapper Mine became final on January 7, 2004. No <br />requests for an adjudicatory hearing on our proposed decision were received. <br />Bond Release No. 4 reduces your reclamation liability by $82,659.00. The current liability is now <br />$24,844,491.00. If you choose to reduce or replace your existing bond, it must equal or exceed <br />$24,844,491.00. The Division suggests you provide a copy of this letter, the OSM concurrence letter <br />dated January 7, 2004, and the BLM concurrence memorandum dated December 16, 2003 to your <br />bonding company for written evidence for approval to reduce your bond.
