Relocation of GVB-LW 10-02.
Deaz Mr. Stazk,
The purpose of this letter is to request Minor Revision 84 to the Oxbow Mining LLC Permit No.
C-1981-022. This MR provides for the relocation of one of the approved gob vent borehole
sites, GVB-LW 10-02, located on USFS managed lands.
This GVB site was previously approved by the Division under TR-57 and had intended to be
drilled as an angle borehole on the common pad with GVB-LW10-Ol. Due to problems with
obtaining an angle borehole contractor, Oxbow has chosen to drill the borehole from the current
light use road constructed for GVB-LW09-O1B.
Oxbow is still pursuing a contractor for completion of the GVB-LW 10-01 angle borehole from
the currently approved pad but due to steep terrain, our alternative options aze limited.
Oxbow has also communicated with the USFS regazding this modification and the USFS has
verbally indicated no particulaz issues with the proposed change. A copy of the USFS approval
documentation will be forwarded to the Division as soon as we receive it.
The modification is shown on the attached Drawing 2.05-MI, Sheet 6 of 6, "General Facilities,
Gob Vent Boreholes." In addition, we are submitting revised PAP pages Exhibit 2.04-E3, Item 9
- Methane Drainage Well Information.
• Page 1
