The revision was submitted by Seneca Coal Company. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />This revision addresses Stipulation No. 33 to the permit, and provides the postmirting drainage control designs for the Seneca <br />II Mine. <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 9 miles southeast of Hayden. The pemtit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />TSN, R87W; All of Sections 1, 2 and 12; Portions of Sections 3, 11 and 13 <br />T6N, R87W; Portions of Sections 27, 34, 35 and 36 <br />TSN, R86W; Portions of Sections 6 and 7. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps of Milner and Mt. Harris. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the RouttCounty Courthouse, Box 773598, <br />Steamboat Springs. CO 80477, and at the Division office. Foradditional information or to provide written comments, contact <br />the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Shemuut Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In orier for <br />us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be submitted within fifteen (I S) days of this letter.
