We are deeply concerned with
the very real possibility of chemicals, residues and hazardous
materials leaking into the water system that joins our lake only
by a dike.
We have witnessed in the past unsupervised, or at best, casually
supervised dumping of used building materials, primarily concrete
but often mixed with other things which could be hazardous to our
property.
Dust abatement has been a problem for the past couple of years and
if Option 2 was accepted we could look forward to living with another
dust problem for ten years.
The principal owners of Henderson Development would strongly recommend
that the original reclamation plan referred to as Option 1 be followed
for the completion of the Sandy Acres property.
Sincerely,
Brent A. Funk for
Henderson Development
