Several additional conditions are
presented hereafter. The pond sampling protocol will be clearly
specified within the sampling and analytical protocol of TR-006.
Paragraph 2
The simple 30-day average method for regulating compliance of the
three tailings ponds is acceptable to the Division. However, it is
not acceptable to the Division to wait until a month after the
close of the subject month to obtain the monitoring results.
Therefore, BMRI shall supplement the formal monthly sampling
completed in accordance with the sampling and analytical protocol
with weekly reports of daily on-site analyses completed by BMRI,
correlated with twice monthly laboratory analyses. In addition,
BMRI shall report any analyses determined to be in excess of the
permit standards to the Division immediately.
•
STATE OF COLO~O
