Three determinations concerning your Notice have been made:
1. Your Notice of Intent was found to be complete.
2. Your project qualifies as coal exploration rather than coal mining.
3. Your project will "substantially disturb" the natural land surface. Therefore, you will
be required to submit a bond to cover the cost of reclamation.
The Division is presently reviewing the application for adequacy. You will be notified of the
result of the review.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
James R.
