Mountain Coal Company has submitted a number of revisions in the
last eight months that have changed many portions of section 2.05
in the permit. Most of the text changes were made based on other
changes that had not yet been approved. Therefore, upon approval
of Minor Revision No. 90, importation of Bear gob to the refuse
pile, the Division stipulated that upon approval of Technical
Revision No. 64, MCC would submit the entire revised section of
2.05. Revisions that required text changes were evaluated for
context during the review period, but were not inserted into the
permit. The Division has reviewed all pages submitted in
compliance with the above stipulation. Unfortunately, to make an
already confusing situation even more confusing, the pages
submitted also include information from three revisions that have
not been approved.
In order to alleviate some of this confusion the following pages as
they relate to changes made in section 2.05 during the following
revisions will be approved.
